Buying a Coach handbag

I bought my 3 coach bags at Macys. They were marked down

I love my coach bags

I got a leather Coach bag that was originally $398...for $80 in the outlet store. The night that we were there the entire store was an extra 20% off. So the bag I got was already marked down to $100 and then the extra 20%. They always have a big selection of bags that are around $149 and if you can get the coupons for 20% off they are very affordable. You can sign up on the website and get the coupons emailed to you.


If you ever have a problem with one of there products you can go back to the store and they will replace it with no questions asked. I've done it and so has a friend of mine. My friends bag was more than a year old and they gave her some options for a replacement as they no longer had the same bag.

Dillards! Our always has a few on sale, and if you can find them when there is an additional 30% off of clearance then you can get a real good deal.

This is what I was going to say. Usually in January they have an addtl 30% off clearance prices so it's usually 50% off plus another 30% off which makes for some AWESOME deals!

I got my first Coach bag at Dillards for 30% off last week as a birthday present to myself. I am in love with the quality and just the way it looks(and feels)!! It's my first time buying myself a purse and I think I'm already addicted. I've never carried a purse before this. And look at me now! I'm already eye balling another one.

I second Dillards!!!! I have bought many bags at dillards usually 50 off . I just have to wait for the extra % off sales, which happen several times a year. You just have to keep an eye out in your local paper if you have a Dillard's near you. Not only do I get Coach there, I have picked up some really high end bags for at least 50% off if not more. You usually won't get Coach any more than 50 off and it is in store only I am finding. THey will run extra off on the net store, but Coach bags don't ever go on clearance on the Dillards site.

Last few times I have been to Coach outlet, not nearly as many store direct bags and so many made only for outlet bags. While many moons ago I didn't mind buying an outlet only bag, I really feel they have dropped in quality . Such a disappointment.

Every time I go into the Coach outlet, they give me a 20% off coupon. I like to go in there and look for the "quality bags" that are sold at department stores or Coach mall locations. It's a game to me. I usually will find one or two bags, that's it. The rest I feel is "made for the oulet" merchandise. That is why I prefer Dooney bags, not too many people have those. I buy most of my Dooney bags at the outlet in Orlando.

I've looked at this bag for a long time. It's fabulous!!!

I've been looking at it for awhile too. Yesterday I drove around to 2 different malls, hoping to find it in the store so I could get a live look at it. I couldn't find it, or any Lucy bag for that matter, anywhere. I finally decided just to go for it and ordered it online. I can't wait to get it!

No big deal. I did see some Coach outlet websites, so I am wondering if they are even real? I do not want a fake bag at all.

The coach outlets are real but be warned. Due to the popularity of the outlets coach has started a line of bags specifically made for the outlets. IMO these bags while still nice are no where near as nice as the ones found in the front line stores.

My second problem lately with coach is a lot of their bags now are cloth or vinyl. Sorry not giving you 300 bucks for a cloth bag.

I just bought a Coach handbag today at a thrift store for $40. Not a scratch on the bag -- probably sat in someone's closet for a couple of years and the person decided to part with it. Beautiful dark brown leather, bucket style purse. A great find!
