Buyer's Remorse

For us, the only remorse was, as they say in EVERY commercial, I wish I would have bought 5 years earlier....

I enjoy the planning and I enjoy the time with my family.

My Grandbaby is going for the first time this December. I am in the process of planning that. I am excited!

i really want to know more about those 9 yrs of free park entrance!!!!!!!! was that when okw first opened for sales or recent?:eek

i will think of that every year when i pay for aps for all 4 of us. that is a pretty hefty price.

of course i am still pleased to be able to purchase aps. before we owned dvc we were not allowed to purchase aps with a discount.

According to my neighbor, if you bought in the first year at OKW you got 10 free years, the second year you got 9 free years, the third year you got 8 free years.

There are lots of threads on here about the legendary perks of the early years of DVC.

it seems like those who DON'T own get more "deals" than those of us who do. Right now, people are getting free nights lodging, meal plans for free, and more. Now that Disney already has our money, where are our "specials"?. Sure , I know that we get 20% off at certain restaurants, and annual pass deals, but how about "free" for us, too???

I put wish we had bought sooner. If I had only listened to DH and gone on the tour when WLV or BCV were selling I would have bought at either but I am happy now with our AKV and BLT purchase.

We purchased our first contract in 1993 and have added on since. My only remorse is that I have haven't added on for AKL yet!!

The small amount of remorse we felt vanished after our first DVC stay. We knew then it was the right decision for us.

My worry has been money (we had everything paid off prior to this, so its hard to owe again).

We just got back from our first stay at SSR and loved it. My dh told me after the fact that he was nervous going but now can't imagine going any other way.
