Anyone every buy something from buy.com? They have something I've been looking for that I can't seem to find anywhere else, and no sales tax, but I've never purchased from them before. Looking to see if anyone had any experience with them to share.

Ive made a few purchases from them. There shipping is not always the quickest and they sometimes backorder items on you after youve ordered. But if your not in a hurry to get your purchase then they can have some good prices on things.

I've ordered many things from buy.com both through their regular website and their eBay sales. I haev never found their shipping to be slower than anyone elses (if you choose the free shipping, it's just like Amazon.com ffree shipping: they uses the cheapest method they can, which is also somethimes the slowest) and the merchandise is fine when it arrives

I have had wonderful experiences using Buy.com. Since it sells alot from other sellers, your experience would depnd on them, so I'd be sure and read the ratings. I purchased my latest camera and a hard drive recently and was very pleased. Nice prices, quick free shipping, new items and as an added bonus get my cash back with Sunshine rewards. They are now one of the first places I check to buy stuff

I have used them many times. I have never had any back order or shipping delays. They also participate in many of the Rewards Programs, so you can get cash back on your purchase.

DH orders stuff from them all the time. Never had a problem. It's one of the first sites he goes to when looking for something.

We've bought stuff from there and never had a problem. Maybe we have been lucky, but our orders have always arrived fast.

I've bought a couple of different items from them--one year I bought our xbox 360 no problem at all. Our cheapest purchase was some really inexpensive digital frames--I bought like six of them and half of them didn't work.

I've bought stuff directly from buy.com many times, and from third parties that list on their sight a few times.

I've never had a problem with the direct buy.com purchases, but I've heard they can be a pain to deal with if you have to return something. But I've only heard that second hand, I've never had to return anything.

I had a problem with one of the third parties claiming they shipping something when they never did - they even admitted they never did, that they just marked all purchases they got from buy.com as "shipped" as soon as they got the order, not when they actually shipped anything. That turned into a mess to deal with. So watch the merchant reviews if you go with a third party (although in my case it didn't help because the problems with the merchant all showed up after I ordered).
