buy APs at resorts ?

We arrive at POR on 28th. We are purchasing APs' and have the AP room rate. Can I purchase the APs at resort or will I have to go to a park to buy them before checking in ?

You can't buy AP's at the resorts. I would check in at the resort and if they ask about your AP, I would ask if you could bring it back later in the day. I have had the AP room rate several times over the years and have never been asked to see my AP. They have asked whether I need park passes and I tell them no, that I have AP's.

You can't buy them at the resort. Do you have a Disney store near you. You can buy them there. You can buy any of the tickets there. And you can apply your disney club discount on the AP. That's what we did.

There are no Disney stores near us, so can I buy the passes at any of the Disney parks ?

If you fly into MCO you can buy them at the Disney store at the airport. You can also buy them at guess services at the parks.

You can buy them at any park or Downtown Disney. If you are flying in, you can purchase them at the airport Disney Store.

No because UPH's (formerly LOS passes) are tied into your resort reservation. But you can get an advance purchase discount on UPH's by calling WDTC/CRO and adding them to your reservation. Only drawback is you must take it for the entire length of your reservation. You cannot drop any days.

Can you just show them your AP vouchers when you check in? I don't know if I want to activate mine on the first day ... I think we might be too tired to enjoy the parks.

Sometimes they don't even ask to see your AP when you check in. But the voucher is sufficient. I'm not activating mine until day 2 as we will probably be too tired day 1 to hit a park.
