Buy a Guest of Honor pin for your child

Paying 22 dollars seems a bit crazy. But I really wanted one for DS. I shoudl have bought one last year when I thought about it.

I went to Character Premiere today. It is the official Disney outlet store. They had the pre-printed name Guest Of Honor badges. I'd guess they had about 50 different names. I manage to buy one with my name "Peggy" on it. If you are interested, you might give them a call. I plan on going back over there on Saturday if there are any particular names you'd like me to check on.

1 store had my daughter's name, another store had my son's name, so they offered to have a "runner" get my daughter's name, and ship them together, that way I would have only 1 shipping charge.

OMy DS's came in the mail today! ordered it from the Character Outlet, I think. BUT it is green with Tigger on the left side. It says "Guest of Honor" and the top of the oval , then Kevin's name in the middle, and "Walt Disney World" at the bottom of the oval.

Here's the ridiculous part! It was only $1.99, but shipping was $8.00. SHEESH! Still came out ahead of the $22 and DS LOVES it!

They only had certain names. OUt of my family, Kevin was the only name they had....thank goodness as he's the little guy!

Oh man. I read page one and the last page- am I reading this correctly that they no longer have the pins available to be personalized? WHY OH WHY would they get rid of those? I was going to get those on our next trip- should have last trip (Thanksgiving 2003). My kids names (except maybe Robert) are NEVER going to be on there if they are names already printed on there.

FOUND BADGES TODAY!!!!

Called DTD Christmas Store 1-407-828-2042 and received a return call one hour later...Ordered badges for kiddos and should have them within 10 days! Only had red badges available though!

mommyrom - thanks for the info! I first called the WDW merchandise number, thinking it wouldn't hurt to ask and they said that WDW no longer sold them. So then I called the DTD Christmas store, left a message and they called back in about an hour (even thought the message said they wouldn't return calls until Tuesday) and the lady I spoke with said no problem. She knew what I was talking about and I ordered 7 of them. I should also get them in about 10 days. Our trip isn't until June, so at first I was going to wait and see if WDW re-stocked them, but now I am starting to get the feeling that they are never going to sale them again, so I decided not to wait. Glad I called and now I don't have to stress about it.

We had one for each of our four boys on our last trip and boy did they feel special. Every CM called them by name. Even just walking around A CM noticed and asked "Hows your day XXXX? "or" XXX how are you doing?" They asked if they would have them on their next trip too. It was really fun for them!

Just got off the phone with the Xmas Store (thanks for posting the #!!) She had the blank badges and said they had "walt disney world" printed across the bottom. With names like Dillon and Gavin, I was thrilled - having them printed up for some of the kids and can pick them up at BWV when we check in next weekend - $6.00 ea plus tax ! - thanks everyone - I've been waiting for these to come back !!!

First I have heard of these buttons - you said you are having them printed - does this mean they are doing it or they have them with names already on the badges? I called and left a message to get two for my kids - am hoping I can get them.

Beth, you might want to err on the side of caution and order them from the Xmas shop now. The only additional cost will be the small shipping fee. I can't remember exactly, but didn't they go out of stock sometime in September? And it's taken them to almost the end of January to get them in. I don't think that I'd risk them selling out again.
