Does the tour include the trip back to the ship after shopping in Marigot? Thanks!!!

When we went last year we did not do the DCL excursion...instead we rented a car with another family and toured the entire island. The Butterfly Farm was a wonderful experience, very educational for DD and an excellent photo opportunity. We only paid 8 or 10 dollars to get in and could stay as long as we wanted. It was cheaper to get tickets there cause they knew if you were on the ship you weren't coming back - as some folks get week long passes.
In our tour of the island we visited a sugar plantation, clothing optional beach and lots of shopping stops. It was a more relaxing way to tour the island - it was less expensive and we were in control of where and when we stopped.
There was a Hertz booth for car rentals but you can negotiate a deal with the 'reps' there.

Tooth Fairy: The excursion does include transportation both ways. We took the tour in January and enjoyed it--although I wish we had been able to stay a little longer at the farm--it was very interesting, and the people who worked there were very friendly and enthusiastic.

How's the weather where you are? We're in the Piedmont and still have a lot of ice and snow on the ground. Schools had a 2 hour delay today!

We're also in the Piedmont. Finally got power back on Sunday. I'm ready for my WDW vacation--leaving Thursday. Our schools were on regular schedule today.
