I have recently noticed pictures of a butterfinger cupcake....I am a huge PB&C fan, I am not sure how I did not see these before but how good are they and where can I get one???
Thanks :yay:

Oh they are YUMMYYYY!!!! You can find them at Starring Rolls Cafe in DHS, be ready for some overload!

I had one last trip. I would say the cupcake was good, not great.

I like butterfingers - full-sized bars, mini-bars, eggs/bells, DL used to have a BF brownie that was delicious (Border's had one a few years ago). I was a little disappointed that the cupcake wasn't more butterfinger-y. It is a chocolate cupcake with a mountain of icing (I think it was a light buttercream - but not certain), and the icing mountain was dusted with butterfinger crumbs and very small bits. To me there wasn't a strong butterfinger taste to it. I would have much rather had some larger chunks throughout the mountain of icing - now THAT would have the strong BF taste.

It was still good. But it didn't deliver a strong BF taste to me.

You can find the Butterfinger cupcake at Starring Rolls at the Studios. It also sells chocolate peanut butter cupcakes.

As you have seen from the picture, they are gigantic and elaborate. They are a great treat to share with a group!

DH is allergic to peanuts so no worries about sharing there!!!

Luckily we have 2 DHS days, so the 4 of us (2 are little kids) can share the Butterfinger cupcake one day, and the PB & Chocolate one the other day! We all love PB & chocolate together!!!

DD and I skipped the butterfinger cupcake because I'm not a fan of Butterfingers (ate too many once and got sick!) so we went for the white chocolate which was SOOOO good. However, DS17 can eat an entire bag of Butterfingers without stopping, so we took a picture for him

The thing about the picture is you can't tell how HUGE they are.

I'm noticing the snack credit symbol! We don't even have the meal plan, but you know, for one of those, it may be worth it! Heck, I'll spring for the $4. DS and DD are allergic to milk products so I'd have to eat it privately (and share with DH of course).

Yumsie...thanks so much for the pictures...only 23 days to go!! Woot Woot!

Or, you can eat lunch at Starring Rolls and get the cupcake for dessert. I made myself feel better by getting a banana as my side before chowing on the cupcake

I love Butterfingers. I love cupcakes. But I did not like the Butterfingers cupcake.

I like soft frosting on the top of a cupcake. The topping on this was so hard, I couldn't cut it with a knife.

The cake part was a darker chocolate than I like.

And the glob of marshmallow filling inside was not tasty.

Next time I would try a different cupcake option.

My DH and I had the butterfinger and the marble cupcake in Jan. on our parents only trip. We had plan on spliting the two cupcakes and sharing, lets just say this did not happen. My DH eat half the BF cupcake and a few bites of the marble one and was done and he loves frosting. As for me I am not that crazy about a bunch of sugar and ate mostly the cupcake, that was just to much for me. We are going again in Sept and DH is planning on getting these again and sharing with the kids. I can just picture it already the kids will be bouncing everywhere like Tigger:tigger:
