ButterBeer Recipe

Looks like Yokel 6 posted a butterbeer recipe. No mention if it's official, but if it is, then there are dairy products used.

Hmmm. Interesting. I think I'm going to come up with my own recipe because this is not at all what I have been imagining for the past 10+ years while reading the books. I mean, it was good and all, but not what I wanted. Plus I got the unfrozen kind and it was kind of luke warm and made me feel a little queasy.

Definitely NOT the recipe for Universal's Butterbeer (it even says it's not in the story), but Univ. says no dairy and no alcohol are in their recipe, so that leaves the butter and rum out.

The website states it's not official. The header of the website on the top is "Unofficial" Butterbeer Recipe.

And to quote the article: "A recipe for the formerly fictional drink made famous by the young wizard, Harry Potter, was released by The Associated Press, but according to Universal, it's not the official recipe."

You guys can stop jumping on me and saying that the article says it's unofficial.

It didn't have that originally and was updated to say it was unofficial. I am not stupid.

FWIW, it's rum *extract*. Though I guess extracts have alcohol, LOL, but it's not rum itself.

FWIW, I saw it the way you saw it when you posted it. I didn't see anything about it being unofficial when I read it.
