I saw a new Broadway musical last night "caroline, or change".
it came out of public theater. maybe it should have stayed there.
I ound myself engaging int eh intellectual exercise of analyzing the symbolism, how a domestic incident is a microcosmi of society, etc.
and I realized I was doing this intellectual excise to keep from been bored. I had no emotional attachment to the characters. and the music ...
