We are looking at planning a trip for our family and I want to surprise the kids. The dates we are looking at are June 7-11th? Is this a busy time to go?
The reason I ask is we have gone during the popular times before and the crowds have just been too much for us. Sure appreciate any advice you may have.
Thanks!:)

I'm not sure about all So-Cal schools, but my So-Cal kids are still in school that week. So in terms of locals being there it should be slow, assuming our schedules are all similar.

Good luck!

That week should be not too bad. I see that would be a Sun-Thurs visit. We went this same time last year and it wasn't too bad until we hit Friday. It was a little busy compared to our usual off season visits but it was quite manageable with a plan.

Have fun!

Thanks you guys. Everyone on this board is always so helpful! Really appreciate it.
We have been to DL a few times and just LOVE it there. The kids are now 5,9 and 11 years old. I don't mind it if we miss some of the big events as longs as a bunch of rides aren't closed down at that time of the year. Is it possible to find out the park hours for that week? I can't seem to find them. We have had to move our kids overseas and they are pretty sad and miss home so this would be a light at the end of the tunnel on our way back home.
Any words of advice or if you think we're nuts for going this time of the year is sure appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to help. You guys are great!

Does anyone know far in advance Disneyland post their hours? I can't find a thing on the hours or if there are graduation days planned in June of 2009.
Thanks for any help we can get. Sure appreciate it.

See DL grad night info here http://www.grad-nights.com/gradnightcalifornia.htm

DLR does not post hours until 30-90 days in advance. Best thing to do at this point is to use hours from previous years as a guide. It does not change that much year to year.
