Busy signal...

Been trying member services the past two days various times - busy everytime. Anything going on that I don't know about?

Lots of members are trying to book their DVC home for a December '05 stay. I'll be on the phone later this month. Keep trying. I think there's a 407 number that you can use if the toll doesn't bother you. People got through on it a lot easier the day that MS was taking calls for the Member Cruise.

I had to call back twice before I got them.

Someone else mentioned that now ALL the names are required on your reservation. Everyone will have their own ID (key). for the new suprise stuff.

I called right at 9:00, hit 3,hit 3, got a human being. Zero hold time. Made two ressies,took the random survey.Total phone time, less then 5 minutes.

Yesterday was a bear. Busy, busy,busy on the 800 line from 9 am until noon. Finally dialed the 407 number, then a 10-12 min wait. CM said she had been busy all morning making ressies for folks for March! Hey all you last minute Charlies... can't ya let some of us anal-retentive 11 and 7 mos window anxious day-to-day callers have a chance?

(Just kidding, of course....)

Today was much better -- maybe a 5 min wait when I called at noon.

I figure tomorrow I should be able to get right through!

I finished a late Nov/early December reservation for VWL yesterday. It was busy but the ninth time I go through. I had to wait 6 minutes. I booked day by day and the average wait time was 4 to 6 minutes.

I have to call on January 24th for my 7 month booking window and I'm counting down the days. It's going to be rough though, because it's a Monday AND it's the 11 month window from Christmas Eve! I think I may have a breakdown that day.

I made a reservation just the other day and they just had my name and didn't ask for any more. I told them four would be in the room. They must take the rest of the names at check-in to put on the key cards. It will be interesting to see what others have to say.

They took all of our names...even the kids. They took kids' ages, too, but nice as they are, left the adult ages alone!

I called yesterday on phone to pay dues with my cc and got right through, I was advised that between members paying dues and ressies, the phone lines are over jammed!!

It's too bad that most members paying by cc would not spend the 37 cents to mail in the payment keeping the phone lines more open. The option was made quite easy on the form.
