Are there any really busy days of the week that should be avoided at US/IOA? Or do they all tend to be much the same (we are in Orlando 11-30 August)

Need to definitely visit sometime in the first week of our holiday to see the nightime show on the lake.

Thanks

Weekdays are usually slower than weekends but in the summer, it's pretty busy all the time. The nighttime show is Universal 360 and is really cool...you'll love it.

Thanks for the info, they didn`t have a night time show 4 years ago so we are really looking forward to it,

if you are in orlando from august 11 to the 30th, go when the kids go back to school. if you check the hotel website for the on site places, you will see when the rates drop down.

the 4th week of august will not have crowds in the parks. if you go the last week, avoid the weekends. the weekends will be crowded then.

i think it is around august 24 where you can see lighter crowds.
our schools start around august 20th. it varies throughout the nation on return dates for school kids.

go at the end of the month and you will avoid the crowds.

Thanks, I`ve planned a second visit for around that time, but we need to go between the 12-18th to see Universal 360 as its only on until the 18th.

We just returned from UO today and I'd say that during the summer, every day is pretty crowded. IOA always seems to be more crowded. On Monday, IOA was insane. So if you can, I would definitely suggest doing the parks (especially IOA) during the week (Tues-Thurs because many people take extended weekends)

try for the wed or thurs for that week for the 360.
(15th and /or 16th)
