We want to spend all our vacation onsite but would like 2 days at Universal. Is there a shuttle bus that would take us? I'm sure Disney doesn't provide one but is there one that picks up at Disney resorts? And what does it cost?

You're right...Disney doesn't provide a shuttle to 'those other parks'. But I believe that Mears does. Check out their website and see what it says. I know you can take cabs or even one of the towncar services.

Mears is 14 per person RT to SW DC and UN. Age 3 and under are free. Call 407-423-5566 the day prior for reservations. Please try to have correct change as you will pay the driver. Transportation will be via Van or Motorcoach.

Get a cab or town car quote as well for RT. If you have 4 or more, it might be more economical to use a cab or town car.

If you are flying in, you can also purchase the RT tickets to Universal, etc at the Mears desk at the airport and you can pay with a credit card there. They don't have a specific date on them. Just call the night before you wish to go as the previous poster suggested.

Also, don't call the Mears number direct from your resort room phone. Dial "0" from your room phone (or any Disney house phone) and when the operator answers ask to be connected to Mears. You avoid the 75 phone charge when you do this.
