Busses from SSR?

I am sorry if this as been asked before.

We are staying at SSR for the 1st time in Nov and I was wondering if I have a ressie how long before the ressie should I make sure I am at the bus stop to make sure I get to my ressie in time?

Our ressies morning times are
8:15 am Ohana's
8:30am Chef Mickey's
9:20am Tusker house
8:28 CRT

I am not that worried about the diners cince we will probably e in the parks closes to the dinner ressie.

For the first two, given you'll probably go to MK, then take the resort monorail, I would allow at least a full hour. And giVen walking times at AK to Tusker and MK to the castle, getting through security, etc, probably about an hour and 15 minutes. That way, if you just happen to miss a bus, you should still be able to make your reservation

Based on what I've read recently regarding the horrible bus service at SSR, you don't have a chance making your Chef Mickey's and O'Hana's breakfast reservations on time. To my understanding, the buses start operating an hour before the park opens. This means the first bus won't pick up until around 8:00am. My guess is you will be very lucky to arrive by 9:30am. I hope I'm wrong!

thanks that is what I was thinking. What time do the busses start running ?

Gee thanks! I have been reading the busses suck every where though. I was worried about the busses when we were staying at POR too so this can't be ay worse. Hopefully they can fix things by the time we go....

I think it took us 1 hour 15 minutes to get from our bus stop at SSR (Paddock section to our breakfast at the Kona Cafe in the Polynesian. I had counted on an hour, and we ended up being a little late. We were still seated without a problem, though the place was pretty empty.

They usually have some early busses running for people with dining reservations. You might want to call the transportation mgr directly after you arrive at your resort to check on estimated times.

I believe you can also check with the concierge desk at your resort and they will have information for you on the early buses for character breakfasts.

My plan is this:
We will head to the bus stop about an hour before our ADR. If there is no bus after 30 minutes we will ask valet to call a cab and hope the cab can get us there in under 30 minutes.

I think for dinner we will just plan on ALWAYS taking a cab because in the afternoon I bet the buses are worse than in the early morning.
