Busses at Epcot

Maybe I should have put this thread in the Theme Park section but I'll try anyways. We are about 7 months out until our trip so I'm just beginning the task of doing research. We plan on doing Epcot 2 days with 1 at Future world and the other at World Showcase. I just discovered that there is an exit in world showcase which I never knew and I've been to Epcot probably 5 times. The question is 1) Between which countries is this exit located?
2) Do the Disney busses use this exit for transportation?

After the illuminations is over it would be nice to just exit the park from here but can we? We are staying on site btw at CBR.

The International Gateway exit is between UK and France and does not lead to traditional Epcot buses. From this you can the boat to DHS, the Beach Club, Yacht Club, Boardwalk and Swan and Dolphin. You can also walk to these locations. From the resorts you can get buses to the other Disney theme parks. Leaving from Illuminations and getting to CBR would not be most efficient from this location.44

You can exit via the International Gateway (epcots's back door), but it won't get you back to your resort....unless you're at the S/D, YC/BC, or BW. You could take a bus to DTD, from one of these resorts, and then transfer to your resort bus, but that seems more trouble than it's worth!
You really don't have any other option other than heading to the front of the park, with everyone else, to get your bus.
But......it is nice to leave Epcot via that 'back door', and check out those resorts! Just walk up the walkway that runs through the UK, and go straight, with the bridge to France on your left, walking thru the exit and to the resorts area.
