We have stayed at Riverside the last three times we were at Disney World. Thinking of staying at All Star Resort this time what is the difference between the busing. We know about Riverside but what about All Star Resorts....

We've stayed at all three of the All Stars and never had any problems with the transportation. There is only one bus stop at each--just outside of the main building. There is usually a separate bus for each one at the parks. There was one time at the end of the day that we had to wait, but it was not just the All Stars, and the CMs called in the reserves. The Sports, Music, and Movies are all somewhat together, so if your building is on the outskirts of one, you could use the bus for the neighbor resort and walk.

About the All Stars in general, my recommendation is All Star Sports because of the layout. There really isn't a "bad" building--all are pretty convenient to the main building. The Movies layout is very similar, but it seems like all but maybe 4 buildings are "preferred" so they cost more. Yes, the themeing is great, but not sure it's preferred pricing better. I did not like the layout of Music. Instead of spreading across it goes back from the main building, so the back buildings seemed a long way back. Now Music was our first All Star experience ... in July ... with a toddler, so my perceptions may be a little skewed. If you are just wanting a value resort, Pop would be a good choice--nice themeing and dedicated bus. Now that our kids are grown and we don't need two rooms, we're experiencing the moderates. :) Really liked POFQ last May and will be at POR in 3 weeks!

I've stayed at each All-Star and POR. One thing you may notice is a difference in travel times to the parks. AK will be much faster from the All-Stars (it's very close and you don't stop at Blizzard Beach) as will BB, whereas POR is much quicker to the MK. It's not a huge difference, but enough that you may want to adjust your travel allowance times a little bit.
Our personal favorite All-Star is Movies - but that's because we like that theming the best.

As far as wait times go, there really isn't a noticeable difference. I do know that the lack of shade at the All Star Resorts bus stops (at the resorts themselves) bothers some people. Also all value resorts have a queue you stand in for the buses, no benches, no little covered depot area.
