i understand that the economy is terrible and hurting some businesses. But there are things that close that do not surprise me at all. Unlike the PP I'm not at all surprised about Blockbuster. Near us over night 5 SaladWorks opened. I think they're too pricey for what they are and there were just too many. So no surprise that all but one closed. Many of the places that closed were just terrible. I see many stores that only carry one type of item closing. People would rather go to target and get a toaster, television, book, and some snacks then go to five different stores. I keep thinking that Michaels and AC Moore might close too. Whenever I go in there the service is terrible, few people are in there and I can get all of the things cheaper online.

That's like Gamestop. Since they bought over EB Games, most malls have two or more locations inside and just outside in the shopping plaza. It's insane. When I worked for one, there were about 10 locations all within 10mins of our store. Talk about over kill.

It's sad to see stores hanging on by a thread, only to hire people too rude to be dealing with customers. If you're trying to hang on, at least put your best foot forward.
