ok, so thus far i have my florida vacations to include, wdw parks, universal, ioa, old town, seaworld, and some dinner shows, i am thinking about bush gardens, is it nice, is it easy to get too, is it in the direction of disney or toward cape canaveral tell me everything

I grew up in Clearwater so Busch Gardens to me is the backyard play ground. We spent A LOT of time there as kids. I really enjoy it. The park is nice and the coasters are very cool. It is about 45 to an hour from WDW heading towards Tampa. You would take I-4 west to exit 7 (there will be signs); (from Expedia as I know how to get there but not the names of the roads) At exit 7, turn RIGHT onto Ramp (US-301 / US-92 W / Hillsborough Ave / Busch Gardens), Keep LEFT to stay on Ramp, Keep RIGHT to stay on Ramp (US-92 / Hillsborough Ave), Road name changes to US-92 [SR-600], Turn RIGHT (North) onto SR-583 [N 56th St], Turn LEFT (West) onto SR-580 [E Busch Blvd]. There are signs that will direct you all the way from I-4 to the park.

I love Busch Gardens. I like the stage show Katonga more than most of the shows as Disney. Please be aware that there is a lot of construction still going on. Last year, they started building a new coaster that will open sometime in May in Stanleyville. The new Stanelyville Smokehouse is supposed to be open now. They sell great tasting ribs there.

The park is beautiful and there are very few lines. The coasters are great but there is plenty to see and do even if you don't like coasters. I try to see as many zoo keeper presenations as possible. Watching the lions, hyenas and hippos get fed is always a highlight.

I buy a two year annual pass for both Busch Gardens and Seaworld. Annual admission with this pass costs less than one days admission at both parks. It gives you free parking and discounts on food and purchases as well - a real bargain IMHO.

It takes me less than 1.5 hours to make the drive from Disney to Busch Gardens. The drive is a pain because of construction on I-4. I stay at a nearby hotel through Priceline for less than $50/nignt. I also enjoy meals at Shells and the tour of the Yuengling beer bottling plant close by.
