If you look back, I was responding to shortbun, not you. Furthermore, I was being quasi-sarcastic, since I recognized her post was based on the Auntpolly thread.

At the risk of giving more unwarranted advice, maybe it is time for a chill pill.

I did edit it, because someone pointed out to me that it could be interpreted as me suggesting Peachgirl is on drugs. . .and, I'm definitely not trying to do that.

I didn't think "Oh how clever" was mean. I thought it as clever or as unclever as your "Oh, how clever" comment. It was not intended to be mean.

I took the time to find the information to show that it's completelty without merit. . . and do I see any acknowledgement of my effort?

Yes Kendra did PM me with some info concerning the thread that was closed last night. . . I haven't read it yet, but I will. I can't say it proves any point Kendra was making, but if after I read it it does, I have no problem saying so- ask anyone who knows me around and I'm confident they will tell you that if i make a mistake I have no problem admitting it and/or apologizing for it.


Now, this is a freebie; this is me being more civil then the tone of some here deserve. . . I am all for civil debate, but this idea that one side can slam and take cheap shots at the other and then express this fake outrage, phony sadness, and unbelievably myopic reading of people who disagree with them is pathetically dishonest.

It's been a while since I've been posting (I've been otherwise occupied) but I'd like to point out the following:

There is a reason the debate board was shut down...and it is pretty clear that people haven't learned a lesson from that. Maybe the nastiness will encourage the disboards to bring back the debate board...but I doubt that will be the outcome.
