Bush at 36%, how low can he go?

as much of all of us hold abhore the criminal acts committed by Hussein, you've got to admit he held an incendiary country together. our forced democracy sure isn't doing the trick. like it or not, guerilla warfare is extremely effective. George Sr. warned little muffin-head not to invade Iraq because there was no exit strategy. otherwise he would have done it in the first Gulf war. you can't fight fanatical religious types, they'll always follow their leader or their brainwashed beliefs. that applies to the 34% left in this country as well.

Or the 34% from the other side that says Bush is wrong no matter what?

that's a good point. I voted for and backed the man until we invaded Iraq. there's a certain percentage of people in the country that hopes anyone who you disagree with fails. pop-tart head failed me in front of my own eyes. I can't trust him or any words that emenate from his little water brain any longer.

Until who can defend themselves? All sides on this issue arew Iraqi, and without our involvment, they all would be committing "terror" acts on eachother.

The freely elected Iraqi governments military. Remember them??

I applaud you Dawn. You defend and stick to your believes even if it's not popular opinion on this board. You don't back down from any argument and you always have facts to back it up. You are a prime example of what good leadership is all about. Defend what you believe is right. When things are not always going in a favorible direction you don't loose sight of what you consider to be the right path.

I think that your question is absolutely demeaning to the men and women who risk their lives on a daily basis in Iraq. You really NEED to familiarize yourself with the rules of engagement before you make such outrageous, ridiculous commentary. You are truly misguided. Our soldiers have been very judicious in their use of force, often at great peril to themselves. You truly should be ashamed.

Judicious in their use of force? Are you kidding? I need to remind you again the attack on Iraq three years ago was discribed by your commander- in- chief as "SHOCK AND AWE". We bombed the hell out of men, women and children. I refuse to carry your burden of shame. I grieve for every lost life. I also sleep at night though knowing I did everything in my power to stop this invasion. Do you sleep at night?

I think DawnCt1 is wasting her time engaging in a battle of wits with obviously unarmed people.

Resorting to insults rarely wins points. Or even much notice for that matter.

Anyway to everyone else, what if the Iraqis decide that they don't want our form of government? They're still evolving after all. How will the US government handle it if Iraq balks at Democracy and does their own thing so to speak?

The administration has said it will not tolerate a fundamentalist religious government. They did not, however, say how they would prevent one.

I would guess the same way we reacted to the Hamas win. If we do not like the government, we do not deal with it.

(Please don't let this thread get off topic. I don't really want ot discuss Israel)

They don't have our form of government. They have their own representative government.

We bombed the hell out of designated targets comprised of weapons depots and government buildings. The only "residence" that was targeted were Saddam's palaces but he got away during that time, remember? I sleep very well at night knowing that DH is on his second deployment carrying out a very noble mission. Thank you for your concern.

Stay with me here. What if they decided that they didn't want any form of representative government, at least not one that is elected. Better?

Thank you for your kind words. It's easy to defend the current policy because it is the correct one. Time will bear that out. The Saddam papers are already bearing out the presence of Al Queda in Iraq as early as 1999 and 2002.

I guess you didn't see the bombing of Baghdad, a major city. I am surprised, it was even show on Fox News.

By the way you said your sons were signing up. Did they arrive in Iraq yet? It would be great if they could engage in the noble mission too. After all you are delighted to send other sons.
By the way, saying there is evidence Hussein was involved with Al Qaeda is the same lie the Bush administration finally admitted was wrong. Reinventing it does not advance your argument. You are hopelessly brainwashed.

I don't send "other sons" or daughters. They are all volunteers. Perhaps you should do a little research. ABC New's web site has printed some of the Saddam papers. I would say that it is you who is "hopelessly brainwashed".
