buses to CP before MK opens??

Ok, we've had one big trip to WDW with meals and all. This year my girls want to go to CP for breakfast before the park opens. They have seen some of your pictures of the castle with no one on the streets and think that is cool! We are going to be staying at POR in Oct. If the park is not open yet will the buses be running in time to get there for an early ADR?

You shouldn't have any problems at all. There are early morning buses running to the parks for the express purpose of getting guests to those early morning ADR's (PS's, whatever). If you have a seating at, let's say, 7:45, be out at the bus stop by 7ish..the buses don't run quite as frequently that early as they do when the parks are open, so you will need a bit more time...I even leave an hour to get to the park, but I tend to obsess a bit.

Hi! We did the CP breakfast when we went in December. Our reservation was for 8:05; the earliest you can get I believe. Anyway, we were told at the resort that there is one early bus designated for character dining before -park hours. The bus was supposed to come at 7:15. . .luckily I am an early person. We got to the bus stop around 7:00 and the bus was about to pull away, we just made it! We were also told if we had missed the one early bus we would have been out of luck, this was the case at All Star Movies anyway. It may be different at other resorts though.

I don't know what time the buses run, but when we were there we were told we could not get in the park before 8:00. Our ADR was for 8:05 - the earliest they give - and they made us wait at the gate until 8:00. We had plenty of time to make it down Main Street to CP, but not as much time to take pictures as I planned!

Out of curiosity, when did the park open? If it was 9:00, do they normally have character breakfast ADRs before the parks open for EMH or regular opening hours? Thanks!

Hmm, so I may have to wait for a bus and hour before our ADR's? Anyone else have any ideas. I'm not even sure what time the parks open in Oct. yet since they are not out yet. I just want to figure out what meals we really want to do and I don't want it to be a pain to get to one. If you know what I mean. Thanks for all of your help guys!

the buses start at about 6:45a for the first bus to MK be at the stop about 7:am.

Do you think it is better to take a cab to the Contemporary and walk to MK for the 8:05am CP breakfast? If so...what time would I leave POP to make sure I got there on time?

This day the park opened at 9:00 but the ADR's at CP started at 8:05. I am not sure when breakfast starts on EMH days.
