Buses from MK to AKV and fencing around Jambo's pool

I'm here now and wanted everyone to know some updates:

1) Bus from MK to AKV now is divided into Jambo (bus stop 16) and Kidani (bus stop 17). That's a welcome change!
2) Fence and gates are going up around Jambo's pool and kiddie pool.

That should make the bus less crowded. Is it both directions, such that you can no longer get a parks bus from Kadani to Jambo?

Well, it's only for the MK buses. You can still take the Epcot, Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom from Kidani to Jambo and Disney Springs from Jambo to Kidani. Of course, the MK buses direct to Jambo or Kidani may only be for the Christmas season. We'll have to wait and see.

What do you mean, Fencing around Jambo pool? I hadn't heard about any pool rehab??? At least not since they ruined the pool, by painting the bottom of it, lol....

Disney has been in the process of adding fencing around every resort pool.

The fencing is to try and keep another child from wondering into the pool area and drowning.

We saw the fencing when we were there in October, but no gates. What do the gates look like?

The buses were separated in October as well. We saw it at MK and at Disney Springs. I didn't really pay attention to it one way or another at the other parks.

We were there the last week of October and they had separate buses for MK running so it might be a longer term change.

The fencing is similar to the type at the Kidani pool which had fencing when it opened. When they first announed they were going to fence in most of the pools about four years ago (but apparently not rush to get it done), the immediate thought I had was how awful it could look but they are obviously, as one should have expected, making sure it blends in with the theme of the resort.

The MK bus makes AKV the second resort that has gotten that improvement. It must have started in October because it was not there in September. About a year ago, the Boardwalk resort went from sharing the MK bus with Swan/Dolphin to having its own, a greatly needed improvement there. Its change was only for MK, as bus sharing continues for AK and Disney Springs. The change at AKV is undoubtedly meant to be permanent if they have added the separate bus terminal feature at MK; the same happened for Boardwalk

There are separate numbered gates, bus stops, at Disney Springs as well for Kidani Village and Animal Kingdom Lodge.

My family was there 3 weeks ago. The separate buses to mk was a nice thing. I talked to a worker about the fence around the pool and they said it was because they were scared of children leaving rooms at night and going to the pool unsupervised. Disney had been paying a security guard to roam the pool area all night since it first opened. Now it can be locked when complete.

At 1st when I read the 1st thread I was thinking...

But after seeing these pictures, they actually aesthetically look kinda nice..Considering they are fences...
Crazy to think that non DVC'ers would waste their time pool hoppin all the way to AKL/V.

Are the gates around the hot tubs? What time do they close the hot tubs?

The hot tubs were within the fenced area. They close the same time as the pool.
