Buses and boat

One hour prior to the earliest park opening which would include EMH. IIRC.

Oh! Okay. So... if Epcot has EMH from 8-9AM, the busses for ALL the parks start running at 7AM? So we can catch a 7AM bus to MK even though they don't open until 9?

Can anyone confirm?

Also, we need to exchange papers for annual passes the day before we go to the parks. Can we ride the CR boat from FW to CR, then hop on the monorail and go to TTC to exchange for annual passes?

Yes you can do that also. Coming back you would get on the resort monorail and it would hit the Poly, GF, MK then the Contemporary. Should be able to do that at Guest Services anywhere I would believe. Check with the front desk when you check in they would let you know the easiest way to get that done.

Great! We have a full day of relaxing at FW before hitting the parks, so we plan to do the exchange on that day, instead of trying to do it in the morning before MK opens. :)

The buses leave the starting point at the same time, they may not be dispatched to run to the later opening parks until closer to the one hour before opening time. If they need the buses to move bigger crowds for the EMH, they will use the buses there first, it seemed. The bigger question is when does security start work, because if they are not there, no one is getting in anyway....

I thought just the early park bus starts running early.

I'd ask when checking in if guest services can help with your APs. Save a trip to TTC.

Typically the buses start at 1 hour prior to the particular park opening. I have seen buses start a little earlier before, but as a general rule they start at the 1 hour mark on the specific park opening time.

That's why I said "typically".

The drivers I asked in the past all told me an hour prior to park opening and this has usually been their arrival time at the Fort. Nothing specific about it apparently.

Bottom line, if you want to get to MK early, take the CR boat and walk.

If you want the other parks early then drive.

Being one for a very long time, I know that some drivers are not up to speed as to what's going on. You may have heard that before.

It's very specific. It may not appear that way, but I can assure you that WDW bus transportation operates on a tightly controlled schedule as to when certain things occur.

I would opt for the bus.

I'm hoping the bus will work! I want to get on the buses by 7 for a 9 AM rope drop.
I think I may call Disney customer service and see if they say buses are fine for an 8 AM PPO ADR. If so, they must be picking people up at least by 7:15.

I miss something? You would opt for the bus to MK? There's a bus from FW that goes to MK before the boats?
