We are going to WDW in July and not planning on hiring a car. I have read about the shuttle service to Busch and wonder if anyone has used this?
I though that we could get a cab to the bus stop, as it would be early morning and the Lynx bus might take too long (getting to the TTC etc)

Amongst the stops are listed are Orlando Premium Outlet, Seaworld and Old Town, Kissimmee - unsure which would be closest to POP (in terms of cost in a taxi).

I would also like to know if there is enough to do and see for someone who doesn't particularly like roller coasters and is there a system similar to Disney's Fastpass?

Also for those who have visited Busch before, which days are quiet and which days best avoided?

Our family took the shuttle during our last trip twice. We thought it was great the played films there and back. As for Bush Gradens we found 1 day wasn't enough so went twice both full days and never got board there's plenty more to do then just the coasters. In my opinion it made a nice change 2 disney and universal and would defenatly recomend it!

Haven't been to Busch for several years so can't answer that part, but in Oct 2003 we caught a taxi from Orlando Premium to DTD & it cost us $10-12 (incl. a tip). If you don't know where it is, it is the opposite side of the interstate to Crossroads & can be seen from there so isn't very far & I would guess would be your best bet. If you can get to DTD you'll save yourself a few extra $$$ too & on the way home if you're not too tired you could spend them at the shops as there are open to 10pm. We always shop here as there is a banana republic, nike, reebok, disney, universal etc.

The Premium Outlet Mall would be the closest of those you mentioned.

IMHO BG is a great park to visit and while it does have a GREAT selection of coasters, there are a lot of other things to enjoy as well. I would agree that it's definately worth a second day.

Unless there is a REALLY strong reason for not renting a car, I would suggest you rethink that aspect. Even if you just hire a car for 3 or 4 days it would allow to visit BG (maybe twice) and to get a good portion of your shopping done while you have access to the car. In terms of cost it's not going to be much different than a taxi to and from the outlet mall ($12-15 eachway) and the bus tickets for all of you. It will however save you a great deal of time in getting to BG and back, plus it will give you the chance to buy a lot more shopping in each visit as you wouldn't have to carry it around with you while going from mall to mall.

Usually I would try to avoid weekends at BG, it can get busy with local teens off school for the weekend, but as you're going in July when they are on summer break anyway it doesn't really matter in the park. The weekends may be slightly busier if there are local families taking their younger kids there.

If you buy the 5 park flex ticket you get the shuttle for free to busch gardens.

Thanks for all your responses - we are only planning going out of Disney one day as we have Annual Passes and want to make the most of them. The taxi to Orlando Premium Outlet sound like the best idea (though DH is less happy with the shopping afterwards).

I think theres a daily bus run from Seaworld isnt there ?

Think that is a pick up point Dave.

Oh right....I thought it was a private bus laid on by the parent company.

Cant quite make out the reasoning for this comment. You obviously know i am not experienced in this having never been to Orlando and i was merely regurgitating (for want of a better word) what i have read on the forums.

Must be a Fleetwood thing.
