Hi,

I have a few questions about Busch Garden's. I couldn't find a thread for it, so i hope you don't mind me gatecrashing this one.

I've never been to Busch Gardens. I've seen the bus stop for it at SeaWorld. How long does the bus take from SeaWorld to get there? Also it looks like there are alot of rollercoasters there. Is there alot to do if your not interested in the rollercoasters?

Thanks

if you are staying onsite at the UO hotels, a year ago it was $10 pp from the uo hotels to BG by bus.

i haven't been to BG in a long time.
my only suggestion is to google to find their website.
i'm sure lots of your questions would be answered then.

If you have a flex ticket, the bus ride is free. You can either get it from Seaworld or from Universal.
Busch Gardens is definitely worth a visit even if you don't like rollercoasters. There are plenty of other rides, shows and of course it is also a huge zoo. It is a long day but a must for me every time.

Just wanted to add that transport is also free if you have either Discovery Cove Choice or Ultimate Adventure tickets.

It takes us about an hour or a bit more to drive to Busch from our house next to Disney World. I'm guessing a bus would take a little longer. The coasters are the big draw, but there is more to do, i.e. walking to see the animals or seeing them via the Sky Ride and Rhino Rally and a bunch of other tame rides as well as shows.

Busch Gardens is one of our fav parks yes the coasters are awsome but there's lots of animal interaction and IMHO the food is much better and cheaper than disney. It's not as busy as disney and has a great atmosphere.

Well worth the tripdown the I4!

Dumb question I know....but I'm a Universal newbie....what is a flex ticket?

The Flex Ticket is well worth it if you are planning on doing Universal Studios, islands of adventure, Seaworld, Busch Gardens, Wet n Wild and Aquatica. They also do a cheaper one without Busch Gardens. Check out the link that has been posted. Great value for money.

Last time we went to Busch Gardens was October 2006, and I know that they've added more attractions to the park since we last visited. ;) There is loads to do - coasters, water rides, animal viewing areas, kids areas - we never manage to do everything we wanted to in one day.

We took the bus - it took us about an hour and 15 minutes to get there. :goodvibes
