Busch Gardens on Mothers Day

I've read weekends are much busier at BG than weekdays, but I've also read theme parks tend to be less crowded on Mother's Day. Any thoughts on the crowd levels that day? Thinking of heading to Tampa for a day prior to our Orlando trip, since my daughter has never been to BG, but I'm not wanting to deal with long lines, and not particularly wanting to spend an extra bunch of cash buying QQ. Opinions?
