Our trip in 2 wks will be a short WDW jaunt then some other places in FL including Busch Gardens. I see online they have a $70 rate for tix for both kids & Adults, does anyone know if I wait til I get down there am I likely to find any discount type coupons in those touristy books? or is $70 pretty much the best rate?
TIA

I'm going to move this to the SeaWorld board...you will get more responses.

Haven't seen anything better than that.

The $70 ticket you can get online is for buy 1 day get 1 dat free. If you are OK with just going 1 day....if you put the tickets in your cart and then enter the promo code McDonalds2011, it will give you 1 day tickets for $58.

Obviously $12 more for a 2nd day is great , but if you are only going 1 day anyway...why pay the extra $12?:thumbsup2

oh great! thx, that is awesome,, I knew there was a 2nd day but was kinda like well, maybe we will go for 2 hrs the 2nd day but I wasn't planning to really go kinda thing

now I wonder if there is any kinda special deal on space center tix too.

I forgot to add that the McDonalds 2011 promo expires May 31st so you need to do it fairly quickly. Last week in our Sunday paper there were $5 off coupons for the Space Center. A lot of time AAA will give discounts if you are a member. I always google that sort of thing to try and find something.

When are you going to BG? I am trying to plan a day the firt 2 weeks of June. Was going to add the express pass....when I first looked it was an extra $30/day. Now it is $46 per person...ugh. Not sure I want to do that.

I also have a few BG questions:

The website says there is no inventory of Quick Queue passes for Friday 3 June, 2011 (the day I will be there). Now, does this mean I should not expect to buy one (for $X) at the gate if they're obviously not selling them in advance online?

Also, does anyone know what times of the day the first Busch Gardens shuttle bus leaves SeaWorld?

I want to be at BGT as close to opening as possible, but I'm afraid I have to go on a bus ON THE DAY, which probably means missing rope drop, by quite some margin unfortunately. :sad1:

So I need to leave Universal Orlando by Mears shuttle to Sea World, and then get from Sea World to Busch Gardens.

Any advice on these issues? Thanks in advance.

I do not know about the shuttle at all....but as far as the quick passes....I see them available all month from my computer. The McDonalds2011 promo code also works for the quick pass...the price is $29.99 for whatever day in June you select.

BUT.....when your tickets are in your cart and the discout has been applied.....scroll up to the top and click on the quick queue....it is located with a bunch of other options in a white bar above the cart itself. From that you can choose the day and number you want and when you place them in your cart it will be $29.99.

I know this because when my cart is up on my screen with the ticket prices...if you click continue browsing underneath the cart....you can choose the quick queue option again but the prices will be higher and it will not update in your cart.....even if you type the promo code again.

This sounds confusing...I hope you understand what I am talking about. I was relieved to find this out because I didn't want to pay $39.99 each for 7 people!

I don't even know if the quick queue will be necessaryfor the day I am going...but we are driving to Tampa to do Busch Gardens for only 1 day and I want to make sure the kids are able to do the cool stuff without waiting all day.....it isn't like we are going again!
