Hi, I'm hoping there are a few Busch Garden fans out there. It will be our first time in Feb (BG not Orlando) and I was wondering if 1 day is enough or do you really need 2 days. We are mostly going for the coasters for our son.

thanks

If you want to do mostly coasters, 1 full day at BGT is enough. You might be able to ride some of their flats and look at the animals too.

I've heard the staff at BGT is declining in quality. They're running one train operations and the employees are becoming Six Flag-ish.

Thanks for the info. I was trying to decide between getting a 5 park flex or buying Busche and Universal/IOA separately. Now I'm thinking separately with the deals that Univ has right now and we HAVE to go the Busche this time or my son will just "die", lol............thanks :)

I completely agree with Barry!

During our August trip we did US/IOA and Busch Gardens. One day at Busch Gardens was enough for me. We were there the Thursday before Charley hit so the park wasn't crowded at all. We had a VIP tour guide that was awful. Our trip coordinator was giving her suggestions about what she should have us do. IMO, It was not up to par with the Orlando theme parks. I did enjoy the Katonga show and the bird gardens.

We went to Busch two years ago, and when we went it was one train operations, and lackluster employees.

We did the flex ticket, and actually got frustrated with BG, and left at 1:30!

We wont be back

wow, getting that bad? One train operations? meaning they only load one train at a time and let it finish before sending another off?? That would take awhile.

We dont have 6 flags here either. Oh well, maybe our son won't be too thrilled and we'll only have to go once, lol. Then I can return to Spiderman

I have gone to Busch quite frequently in the past couple of years. It seems some coaster is closed for some reason or another every day I am there. It may be difficult to catch them all in one day because of this.

Make sure to catch the show Katanga. They did a great job with this.

If you want to ride Rhino Rally, do it first before the ever-so-slow moving line gets long. This ride has been down in the morning on least 50% of the days I have visited (very frustrating - they don't tell you until you walk all the way back to the ride).
