Bus waits at SSR

Just back from WDW and our stay at SSR. Been members since 1993 and have never had such long waits for busses. At the parks, other resorts would have at least 2 and many 3 busses come and go before we'd ever see one. The waits in the mornings were at least 30 mins. If you actually had one come in 15 mins., it was a rarity. Have they made severe cutbacks at all the resorts? It's strange that one of their largest resorts is not being served well.

That being said, our room was great. Right by the Paddock Pool that our DGS8 loved. Hit Hollywood Studios on Sunday for Star Wars Weekend and it wasn't as busy as predicted. We had a great time except for the bus situation.

Seems to me that no matter which bus I am waiting for anywhere, several buses for other destinations will come and go. Same thing happens when I choose which line to stand in, when to buy and sell stock, and when to buy a lotto ticket.

We stayed at SSR for the first in Nov. and the bus wait was horrible. We were even late for ME going home because it took the bus over an hr to come and get us back to the hotel. We were late for every reservation we had in the mornings too.

Hmm, I didnt have any issues with the Bus to/from SSR in April. I think the longest I waited was 15 minutes.

When I was there in January the buses for AKV were awesome, no complaints about the bus service there, so I don't think it's all resorts.

Same for us! We did a split stay at BLT and BCV on our trip last month and we had some long waits, but kept seeing SSR busses coming and going at twice the rate as ours! Over the last year we have stayed at all of the resorts except VWL and our busses were always the slowest!

We stayed at SSR earlier this month and barely waited for buses. The only time we had a wait was during a storm trying to get back from DHS (typically!)

On the other hand when we stay at AKV we always have a 30 minute wait for the buses...
