So DGF and I are getting ready to plan our December trip to WDW, and we're debating about which resort to stay at. Originally, we wanted to stay at the Poly, but then we remembered that we're in our 20s and she's still in grad school and, oh yeah, we don't have the money to float the Poly. So, we looked at the Moderate resorts, and agreed that the theming at the Coronado Springs is our favorite, with the Caribbean Beach a close second.
Last year in December I went and stayed at the Riverside. I enjoyed the resort, but learned to respect the amount of time one spends on the busses when staying off the monorail and away from the Epcot area resorts. So my question is this:
What can we expect regarding bus trip length from CSR and CBR to the theme parks and DTD? I know CBR is in the DTD area, south of the Port Orleans/Old Key West resorts, and CSR is in the AK area, north of the All-Stars. How many other resorts do the busses usually go by from CBR and CSR? And, what direction do the busses go around at the CBR and CSR resorts? (i.e. which is the "first" and "last" stops on the route... because I'd like to stay near the "last" stop if possible).
I would have posted this question in an FAQ thread but because it deals equally with two resorts, I wasn't sure where it should go.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
