bus transpo from AK to TL?

Is there a bus directly from Animal Kingdom to Typhoon Lagoon? If so, where is it located in relation to the resort buses? If there's not a bus, how do you suggest we get from AK to TL? We will have a van onsite but don't like to drive during vacation unless really necessary. How much time would driving save us?

There is not a direct bus to TL from AK.
I would suggest maybe taking a bus over to the AKLodge(since it would be the closet and shortest ride from AK) and then from there boarding a bus over to Typhoon Lagoon.

Sometimes the Typhoon Lagoon bus from any resort is the Downtown Disney bus, which may or may not do a somwhat circuitous route to get to TL or to return. The bus destination sign should flash each destination in turn. Whether the bus stops at TL before DD, depends on passenger travel patterns to TL (time of day) too. (At one time the buses always went to DD first)To inhibit free parking at DD, no bus goes directly from a theme park to DD.

Sometimes I have a car. If so I drive to the water parks since I find it easier to manage clothing and belongings that way.
