Bus to Legoland?

I think we might have one or two B1G1 coupons for Legoland. If we buy our tickets through Disney we get the transportation but we can't use our coupons. Is there a way to buy transportation only tickets? Is it cheaper than renting a car for the day? Is it just cheaper to forget the coupons and buy the package from Disney? Also where do the buses typically pick you up and how early do they leave? We are staying at the BWPPI.

I assume it is better to organize all of this in advance instead of trying to figure it out once we get there. We are going in mid-July when I assume it will be crowded. Thanks!

We took the Grayline tours to Legoland and SeaWorld. We went on Monday to Legoland, bus picked us up at our hotel, HOJO, at 8:30am, took us to bus terminal where you change buses. We left there around 9:25ish and took one hour to get to Legoland, we were in the park by 10:30am. We had to be back to bus by 4:45pm (park closes at 5pm). It was very easy to use, nice ride, buses are nice and clean. We had a great time, loved LL. We didn't even do everything in the park, didn't have time. We skipped all the shows, only rode and took a break for lunch. They are very strict on height, check at every ride! My kids could do everything they wanted (7,5, 2 1/2 years old). You'll have a great time, we loved it there!

Oh I forgot, on the ride home they take you straight to your hotel, no transfer, so that is nice!

Did you order your Grayline tickets through Disney or directly through Grayline? Did you order them before getting there? Do you just go to the Grayline website? Thanks!

getawaytoday.com sells discounted Grayline legoland transfers for $38.70/pp. I considered doing this, but ended up renting instead since the Costco Budget rate was $15/day so we got a rental at the airport and turned in at their Disneyland area return. Even with the $12 parking fee at Legoland and the gas it was still cheaper. It was nice cause we stayed at LL a while after park closing looking at the Mini-land area and shopping at the store, so it was nice to set up our own timetable and we got to stop for groceries. So depending on how many you are, it might be cheaper to rent.

Wondering if we could do the Grayline transportation to LL on one day and catch it back to our hotel the next day on one ticket? Driving is out of the question for us!!
