bus times from OKW

Hello. Totally new to this resort and I have a few questions! Wondering if anyone knows approx times to get to the parks from OKW? Also, any difficulties getting luggage back to HH for checkout? We have a late flight and are trying to get to the park as early as possible on our last day - is there any easy way to transport luggage if you are far from HH? Thanks!

I remember that it was a surprisingly short ride to MK from the last resort stop to the park and vice versa. The whole bus ride, including all the stops is probably an additional ten minutes.

Also, any difficulties getting luggage back to HH for checkout? We have a late flight and are trying to get to the park as early as possible on our last day - is there any easy way to transport luggage if you are far from HH?

They will come in a golf cart to pick up your luggage and give you a ride. The biggest cart holds six people. They will even come to the room for luggage pickup, which is handy in a building without elevators.

I assume that it is similar to SSR. I usually give myself an hour to travel to any park (it is pretty central with similar drive times). My hour is assuming I just missed a bus and need to wait 20 minutes for the next one, then travel time to the parks (usually 20-25 minutes) and some time to walk to the entrances. This usually works for any stop in the resort, so if I am at the last stop I have more leeway vs the first stop (especially if you end up with a lot scooters, etc that need to be loaded.

This was my biggest surprise of my first OKW stay. Once en route to the parks, with the back roads, the ride to the MK was only about 5 minutes. Same thing with Epcot. The Studios was a couple minutes further, and the AK was at least 10-15 minutes, but it's always that way

Really? Are you talking about from one of the far away bus stops or from the HH stop? On my last stay we only used the HH stop, and my main reason for picking OKW for my next trip is its proximity to the MK. Maybe I'm remembering things wrong, but I thought the ride to the MK at least was super short. Maybe the way home was longer, but at that point, I'm too tired to care Let me know what you think, bc I may need to switch resorts!

we stayed at Congress Park then there is Springs & then on to MK, it took less time to get to Epcot & HWS

I'd also say 5 to 10 minutes for the bus to arrive at MK once you depart OKW. AKV is 15 to 20 minutes once you depart Jambo and OKW is much closer to MK and fewer stoplights and turns.
