We have been to DW 3 times, but never stayed at a Disney property. We are making long term plans for a year from now. Our plan is to stay at a Disney resort with no car(s) this trip. There will be a total of 12 of us, parents, kids, and grandkids, ages 4 to 67.
I have read numerous threads about the bus system and gained a lot of information. But still have some questions.
1. We are looking at the Coronado Springs, Caribbean, Port Orleans-FQ, and Port Orleans-RS. It appears bus service to/from both Port Orleans resorts can be the most trying. Don't find too many complaints about the others. Is that everyone's experience?
2. Is there some where to get the bus stop order for each resort?
3. How difficult is it to get a bus with space for 12 going and coming resort to parks?
4. Are there any secrets to maximizing using the bus system?
5. To get from resort to resort, you must change buses somewhere. Is there a "best" place to do that?
6. Can you request specific rooms near the bus stops and/or food service?

We just got back from POFQ last week.In the morning (around park openning times) we did not share the bus with POR.
You just never know when you go to the bus stop if you are going to have a GREAT bus day or a terrible one! Overall we have been happy with bus service.
