When exiting the parks, I know the deluxe resorts get the prime locations (closest to park gates); however, what about the mods, particularly CSR? Are the bus stops for this resort midway down the line or further away than the other mods?

It varies depending on the park. They also sometimes adjust the bus stops. Its best to just take a peak at the board. Although I have stayed at both value and deluxe and don't recall the deluxe bus stops being much closer. But maybe I was just more tired.

Deluxe resorts do NOT get prime spots. Yes, sometimes they are closer, but not always. And it varies by park, and by resort.

Deluxe resorts do not get the prime spots! I've stayed deluxe and moderate and if the stop for the resort I was staying in wasn't the farthest it was almost there.

So, if I'm down there whichever resort I stay in will be the longest walk to the bus. I'm sure the transportation department schedulers have it in for me.

Thanks for posting this question.... I was about to ask the same thing. I'm taking my grandmother on my next trip and want to minimize her walking. Wouldn't be surprised if someone had a map of the current bus stops lol. :)

CSR is the closest to the entrance @ MK & DHS, 2nd closest @ Epcot, 3rd closest @ DAK. Not for any particular reason -- it just happens to be that way.

Load zones may be rearranged at any time, and buses coming in from the resorts may drop off at any load zone (in fact, when a bus drops off at the same load zone as the resort it just came from, it's purely coincidental.)

Wow. I must have hit a nerve with some of you.
Anyway....

Thanks, joelkfla, for focusing on the real question. The information is helpful and appreciated!:thumbsup2

deluxe and value and moderates mostly mixed together ...values have more buses we think but moderates next. and all are where they drop you off they will load you to return to resort

Seriously??? Hit a nerve?? Hardly. There are many people, posting here, asking about where the bus stops are, at each park, for specific resorts. They want to book a resort based on the bus stop location. And that's just not a good idea. I have actually had my bus stop change during a stay. It was at one spot one day, and two days later, had changed to a more distant spot. It happens.
And it can happen that the change can be for a long time. The stops are reassigned. I'm sure if you look, you can find a thread with photos of the signage for various bus stops at the parks. They tend to be posted from time to time.

As other posters have said, the bus stops vary, so a map of the bus stops today will change next week. Also, sometimes the bus driver will deliver you close to the closest bus stop and then tell you where your spot is for pick-up. The next bus will drive directly to your stop and then tell you that is the pick-up point. If you are on a bus with multiple resorts, the bus driver will tell you if they are split to a different stop, I.e. POFQ and POR.

Case in point, a few years ago, I did a solo, all resorts, no parks trip to see all the decorations. I would just grab the first park bus that came along that wasn't packed to the gills. I was at POR.

My biggest surprise was DHS to go to GF. POR was the second spot from the entrance and GF was the last spot alllllllll the way on the other side of the loop.

Later in the week, I used the DHS bus to take the water taxi over to the BW and GF was about halfway around the loop. Drats.
