Bus sharing at the MK resorts

In the past when I've stayed at one of the monorail resorts I've driven myself to AK and MGM thinking it would be quicker than the bus.

How do the busses work at Poly, GF and CR? Is there ever a direct bus or do you always share with another resort? Which resort would the bus go to first? (I'm thinking the resort picked up last would mean I'd likely be standing).

They always share in our limited experience. We also drive to AK and MGM but sometimes if we've split up after lunch, I've taken the bus back to the Polynesian or GF.

Usually the CR & Polynesian share and GF & FW share.

On the buses I've been on, there has always been plenty of seats but again it has been midday returning to the resort.

We were there in May and it took 1 hr and 10min to get to AK from the Poly I was NOT happy about that at all. Everyone talks about the great transporation and for Epcot and MK that is the case but AK was just way too long. Not only did we wait a good 20+min for a bus but when it arrived, there was already lots of CR people on it and we all crammed in. Then we find that they are stopping at Blizzard Beach first and standing people had to get off the bus to let others out - it was almost funny at this point how long the whole process to get like 3 miles took. Then we were dropped off at AK and you walk further then were the trams from the parking lot drop you off. We drove another day and it took 20min from the time we got into Poly parking lot until the time we were jumping off the parking lot tram. It was that quick!!

Also, on the way back from AKL that day on the bus, we had to go pick up WET people at Blizzard Beach. Not a fan of that either. These 2 boys were dripping in the aisles. I swear they were ripped from the pool to the buses in like 5min to still be that wet

Keep your car, esp at the Poly. The parking lot isn't even that far so we never valet it and saved even more money
