Bus Service at Riverside

It was ok. It never would fail that if we wanted MK there would be 10 Epcot buses and no MK buses and vice versa. We did actually change plans one day. We waited for ever for an Epcot bus along with alot of other people and after the 4th MK bus I said to my DH that someone was telling us to go to MK , so we did. MK was empty (Dennis was suppose to drop alot of rain ) most of the day and no rain. I think we were just lacking pixie dust!! :wizard:

We've stayed there twice and had no trouble with buses either time. There are 4 stops 3 in POR and 1 in POFQ, I believe. We never waited more than 10 minutes for a bus.

From the resort, we only had to wait more than 10 mins once and it was an early EMH at AK on a Saturday over Spring Break (maybe that had something to do with the wait, that and the fact that all of POFQ and POR were going to AK that day it seemed). When it came a torrential storm for about an hour that day at AK, we would have had to wait forever for a bus, but I decided to hop on the bus to the next resort, whatever that may be and get off at the first stop, then took the first bus going to whatever theme park then hopped on a POR bus from there. Those are the only two times we had to wait. Overall the bus service is very good at POR

I was suprised that in July we frequently were the ONLY ones at our bus stop. I think it was the East stop. I thought the service was good, and we only had to wait over ten minutes to go to MGM.

Only once returning from MK did we have poor bus service - We were really tired and about 5 AKL buses past us - I longed to stay at AKL back that night.

Where are the Riverside bus stops?
And what is the order of the stops? Is Port Orleans first??

There are 4 stops at PO total that I can think of. I believe the busses stop at POFQ first then head over to POR(3 stops there). There is a stop close to the Mansions(I believe that is the East stop), a stop at the front by the lobby and I think there is one other stop at POR but I don't remember where. We were there in December and never had to wait long for a bus. We used the POFQ stop(after walking over for beignets) and the front stop(Could this be the south stop?). Hope I wasn't too confusing with that... :flower:

So what I'm getting is there are 3 stops at POR - not just one stop like at the All-Stars? Does it work out that each stop allows everyone a chance to get off close to their own building?

At POR there are 4 stops, South (main bldg), North, East, and West. They are located around the resort. The bus also stops at POFQ and there is only one bus stop there. So I suppose really it would be a total of 5 if the bus stops at POFQ too.

OHHHH.....color me wrong then...I thought there were only 3 stops at POR...with four that would make it very easy to get to your room later. Even tho the East stop was closest to us, we didn't use it because we always went to the foodcourt for breakfast and then toook the south stop. Thanks for correcting me! :flower:
