Does anyone know the order of the bus stops within Old Key West?

Or any suggestions of which buildings/location to stay in?

We have ressies for a 2 BR unit and a studio in October, and have requested they be near each other.

Any suggestions or information is appreciated!

The Park Buses stop at Peninsular Rd, then South Point, then Turtle Pond, then Miller's Rd and finally Hospitality House. (it's been a while since we stayed there, so I think this is right.) The internal/DTD/TL bus stops at Hospitality House first and last.

We like the Turtle Pond area. We ask for water view, non-smoking.

Deb's description of the routes was accurate as of June when we were there. One thing I did notice though, the DTD bus doesn't always stop at HH on the way out. I hopped it at South Point for a quick run up to HH and found myself going to DTD.
Gave me a chance to ride the boat back and see SSR from the water so it wasn't a total wasted trip, though.

Since I almost missed the HH stop once, I always ask the driver if they're planning to stop there on the way out. (Actually, I'm letting them know that I want off there.)

If you don't have a car but want easy access to Olivia's, the store, or the quick meal place (who's name escapes me --- sorry), many people request to be near the HH. Since the main pool will be under rehab then, you might request to be in one of the other areas, if you plan to use the pool a lot.

It's really easy to get to and from the HH, if you're staying in one of the other areas. Just get on the first bus that comes by -- it doesn't really matter where the bus is going. Going back to the room, I usualy walk a few minutes to the first stop @ Peninsular Road and get on the first bus that stops.

We request to be near the Turtle Pond pool because it's the largest of the quiet pools and has a snack bar. Hope you have a great trip!

I reccommend being close to the Peninsula stop. Its a very short walk to the lobby (the last stop) so if you see youve just missed the bus, you can beat it to the lobby and skip to 20 minute wait for the next bus.
