Bus ride from AKV to DTD

About how long is the bus ride from Kidani Village to Downtown Disney? What shops/restaurants are near the drop off location? Do different DTD resort buses drop off at different locations? I am trying to decide between taking the bus back to Kidani Village from HS and then taking another bus to DTD in the evening or just heading straight to DTD from HS and making it a long day. I know the second option is quicker, but some time back at the resort would be nice too!!

You cannot take a bus to DTD from a park. You have to go to a hotel to do that. Your best bet from HS would be to take the bus POFQ and from there hop a bus to DTD. POFQ is one of the closest hotels to DTD. You can take a boat there too from the hotel.

Thanks I didn't realize that only the resorts had buses to Downtown Disney area. Can anyone tell me about time or drop off locations for AKV??

All the resort buses drop of at the same locations. There are two stops: one near the Marketplace, and the other down near the West Side. (Disclaimer: when I stayed at AKL, I don't remember making a stop at the West Side bus stop, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen)

You can also take a boat between the two areas within Downtown Disney.

If you're going to be at DHS for the day, and then want to head to DTD, I would recommend these options...
1. bus to Pop, then transfer to DTD bus
2. bus to POR/FQ, then boat to DTD
3. walk or boat over to BW, then bus to DTD
