Bus Question

One of the announcements after you sit on the bus is a message asking you to not eat or drink while on the bus. However, I saw plenty of people getting on the bus with the resort mugs. I guess it's up to the bus driver's discretion. A resort mug with a firmly capped lid may be OK, but a paper cup of coffee from the food court probably would not pass.

Thanks! It's been awhile since I've been and wanted to make sure before I go.

Are you allowed to carry coffee on the buses?

Have always brought my coffee w/lid on the buses in the morning and have never been questioned - same with the boats. :confused3

Would think 'open' containers would be a no-no for safety reasons (plus messes) ;)

When we were there in September, no one said a word about closed bags, capped bottles or cups with lids.

I am sure there would be a problem with anything that didn't have a lid. Or anything that you were actively eating.

We are not coffee drinkers but have routinely gotten on the bus with our morning Coke's...no issues :)

There is a posted policy that guests are asked to refrain from eating or drinking on the bus. That being said, as long as you have a lid or cap for your drink, no one will say anything.

Now the family that decided to have a picnic on my bus, they did get asked to pack it up.

I have carried on Icees with lids many times. There is no trash can that I have ever noticed though unless the driver has one hid up by him ( that would be just something else for them to take care of if they did). So you must through away trash before or after you get on the bus if you were to finish it during your ride.
