Hi everyone!

I'm in the process of planning my December trip and I plan on doing some park hopping. Usually we drive our own vehicle to park hop. However, there is one day that I would like to park at TTC and take the bus to MGM. We will be returning to MK later that day.

Here's the deal..I have never used a Disney bus and my wheelchair. I'm very nervous about the whole thing!! I know I'm being silly but, I am just simply clueless about how it works.

For example are all the buses handicapped accessible? If not, is it a long wait to get one? Do I have to stay in my chair? Will they make me fold it up?

Any tips you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Kim

We ride the buses all the time with DD in her wheelchair. She is not able to get out of her wheelchair, but if you can, it's possible to get on the bus using the lift or ramp at the back, fold the wheelchair (like a stroller) and then sit on a seat.

Almost 100% of the buses are wheelchair accessible, so there is no extra wait for a bus that is.
There is a section about buses in the disABILITIES FAQs thread that should help you with your questions.

Thanks Sue:thumbsup2

I'm just a little nervous about the whole thing!! I read the Facts and I do feel better about it.
