We are staying at Coronodo Springs and will be heading to Disney Springs next Monday around 4pm. We have our own car and I'd like to drive. What is the parking situation like there? Will I have trouble getting a spot? I am thinking of not taking the bus as I hear they are packed with convention goers at times heading to DS.

Driving there is easy and there's plenty of parking. The new parking garage is really nice and super easy to find a spot with the indicated lights.

I'd drive rather than take the bus

Thanks! I'm staying on property so do I have to pay to park in the garage?

They are saying the parking is limited right now because of construction....not sure if that's still the case so you may want to ask a CM.

Construction has now been going on for years . . . no different than what there's been for a while now. Garage is great - easy to find spot. A little walk if you wanted to go to marketplace side but not bad.

If time is not a consideration,my preferred route is bus to POR/Sassagoula River Cruise to The Springs!:)

To me it's a no brainer ....drive!!

The river cruise from POR is wonderful, BUT . . . it often shuts down due to inclement weather. The last two summers we stayed at POR and didn't get to take the boat at all due to weather. One time we took the bus, the other we drove.

Parking is great now in the big deck and it even tells you where there are spots. Once the second deck is opened I can't imagine any time there will be issues.

I tend to drive most of the time except for if I'm going to be having drinks that would dictate me to ride the bus.

The only bite right now is the old bus stop is TOO small, buses get backed up and they enter from behind DS around OKW and Saratoga. Once the new bus stop and bus lanes are done it will be a breeze. So if you are going for ADRs buffer plenty of time.

We took the bus this year since last year we had a bad experience exiting the parking garage (as in gridlock). The bus was easy peasy and we were eating dinner that night at Wolfgang Pucks in the marketplace which is right where the bus drops you off. We love the ease of the bus and no stress about parking or leaving the garage. However, sounds like problems may have been fixed, a good thing!

We went in August and November of last year. I can remember reading posts where people were saying to stay away because of the traffic. I was worried before we went, but we never had an issue with parking. I would definitely drive.
