I am beyond stoked right now as I was just able to score an 8:15 ADR to CP for my upcoming trip. I was able to book ressies last week and this was the only one I wasn't able to get (I didn't try for BOG though). Anyway, we are staying at Pop, but will have our own transportation. I had planned on using the Disney bus to get to MK, but drive to all the other parks (it's just nice not having to wait in line at the end of a long day). Now with the early ADR, I'm not so sure.

How would you go about it and why?

FYI - it'll be me, my sis, BIL, 2 DNe (7), and 1 DNie (5). The kiddos have never been to WDW and this will be our first day in the park. I'm kind of thinking it might be fun to go to TTC just so they can ride the monorail b/c I know they'll think that is super cool, but not sure how much extra time this will take.

I would use the bus to MK as those off site will be arriving at that time making line for monorail long plus you could also have to wait for tram from car to monorail. granted buses are not as exciting but morning time the least amount of time spent waiting is good. bus leaves you right at the gate. yes you need to sometime on trip ride the monorail but I am not sure that your CP morning is the day

Thanks! My concern with buses is not knowing what time to be at the stop to get the one we need. I would say 7 but knowing my fam it'll be 7:15 before we're there. Do taxis drop you off at the gate or TTC?

For an 8:15 ADR at CP, you should be okay with a 7:15 bus stop arrival...I would be more comfy with 7, but it is what it is. These early morning buses don't run quite as frequently as the regular buses do, so if you just miss a MK bus, it could be another 20 mins until the next one comes. Which is why I say be there by 7.
In any case...the bus will drop you in the MK resort bus stops, not the TTC. It will be a 5 or so minute walk to the bag check and turnstiles.

Thanks! The 20 mins is the part I wasn't sure of. I was worried if I miss one around 7 there wouldn't be another one til 7:40 or so. And if I remember right it's about 15-20 mins from Pop to MK so that'd be pushing it too close to my comfort. I am hoping my niece and nephews will be so excited to meet Pooh and Tigger it won't be a problem getting them up n ready in the morning. My sis says it's like "herding turtles" getting them ready in the morning but I have faith this will be different. Planning an easy peasy day before and early to bed too.
