Bus hours after park closing?

We are staying on site for our upcoming Disney trip (Port Orleans). We booked the dinner package for the 8pm Fantasmic show on our last night at Hollywood Studios. The park is scheduled to close at 8pm. From what I've read the free bus transportation runs for UP to one hour after the park closes. Will we have enough time to watch the whole show and still have a ride back to our resort?

You will be watching Fantasmic! with thousands of your nearest and dearest friends... err, other park guests, and you will all need to be transported to your homes/hotel rooms/condos, etc. The buses run until the park is clear - even if thats more than an hour after closing. Myself and a group of 13 family members had a 9PM reservation for dinner at Epcot on a night where the park closed at 9 last September. And we were the last guests in the park that evening, and were escorted by staff to a bus waiting for us. They knew where we were in the park, and made sure we got taken back to our resort, we were most definitely not stranded in the park, and enjoyed our meal without being rushed or anything. You'll be fine.

They run for 2 hours after the park close so if dhs close at 8 you be able to get a bus to 10.

They run at least 2 hours after closing. If guests are still in the park later than 2 hours after closing, disney will still get them to their hotel.

OP, you didn't ask this, but I think its worth mentioning: You may also hear that buses start running 1 hour before park opening. That isn't true either. Buses begin running at 6:30 every morning.
