Thanks in advance for your assistance!

My family will be on the Disney Dream, and instead of heading to the airport via Disney transportation, we will be heading to Pop Century after our cruise. Typically, what time did one arrive to the resort? I believe we cannot "check in" until 1?, but they will hold our luggage? I am hopeful to get to rope drop, but am thinking this may not be a possibility. (If we do express walk off, do the busses leave at a decent time?)

Yes, bell services will hold your luggage if you want to hit a park before your room is ready.

Procedure goes like this....last night of the cruise you put your luggage out in the hall. In the morning you would eat (if you want) and then leave the ship and claim your luggage in the luggage terminal. You would take your luggage through the customs line and then out to the buses. A CM will direct you to the correct bus for the resort you are going to. You bus may stop at a few resorts before it get to yours (depending on how many people are going to each resort). buses start leaving about 8:00 am.

As far as breakfast, you can go to your assigned dining time or just eat up at the buffet. We find eating at the buffet the last morning is the easiest. We go about 7:30 am, eat, head back to our cabin to collect our carry ons by 8:00 am and then head off the ship.

Or, you can do express walk-off and take all your luggage off the ship with you and then through customs and out to the buses.

Thanks for the quick response! Do you happen to know the earliest one would be able to arrive at the resorts? The girls really want to do the Jedi training at Hollywood Studios, but I have read online that it fills up quick and one needs to be there at rope drop

A realistic arrival time, after bussing to your resort, would be to plan for a mid-morning/early lunch arrival. Remember, you'll be leaving island time and heading to world time.

Thanks for the realistic expectations! I was worried about that... looks like we adjust our plans for which park to attend on which day, or miss Jedi training.

Realistically, I don't think you'll make it to Jedi Training in time. We got super lucky when we took Disney transfers to our resort last time, because when we got off the ship, they asked how many we were, there were 4 of us, they put us in a van with another couple, and we took off...way before the buses were even loaded. We were at our resort by around 9:30am. Even then, by the time we got to our room, dropped off our stuff, and head straight to HS, we didn't get there until 11:30.
