Bus from Poly to DS / DS to Poly

About how long should I plan for a late morning bus ride from the Poly to DS and back mid afternoon (on a Saturday at the end of August 2016). About how long for a weekday evening bus trip?

45 minutes or so each way, regardless of the day or time

Yikes! That's a long time-

The only times I've ever had to wait more than 20 minutes for a bus has been when going between deluxe resorts and Disney Springs.

Disney recommends that you allow 45 minutes when using their transportation. The actual ride won't take that long, but if you just miss a bus, the next one might not come for up to 20 minutes so they are including potential wait time plus unload/load time.

Actually, as things are now, the daytime trip to and from DS may take up to an hour, as the bus may stop at TL on the way. Also, the trip to DS will stop at GF, which adds another 10 minutes.

But there's no way of knowing whether service will be different by next August, whether the new bus depot will be open at DS, whether the dedicated bus lanes will be open, etc.
