How on earth does anyone get the free lip balm!!!!???????

I have been missing it every day, so today I was determined. I kept a window open and kept hitting refresh (like constantly)

So, I hit refresh, nothing. I got up, got a glass of water came back to the computer and hit refresh. You guessed it, the giveaway was over. Literally in like one minute.

How do people do it???????????

I haven't been able to get in either, but haven't really tried much.

Don't feel bad - I was doing the exact same thing this morning. I refreshed and made it to the page where you fill out your shipping information. I filled in everything (and I'm a fast typist!), hit send...and was taken to the 'Sorry, but we're our for the day' page. Grrrrr....in less than 20 seconds, they were out?! I give up!

Hahahahaha now I feel better sbsteel, I would really be upset if I got that far only to miss it!

I don't know why I am determined to get this lip balm, but it is becoming an obession!

Wow, I'm feeling a little guilty. .

I had heard about it before but never did it and then yesterday, thanks to a DISer posting a reminder, I opened a window and hit refresh every once in awhile.

Suddenly I had a different screen and I filled in the info and got in!!!!

How much does this lip balm go for normally?

I know Chap-Stick is only a buck and change......not worth the effort. But I've never heard of this brand myself.

I was at the computer anyhow, so I opened up the link and just hit refresh every 10 min..I started at 9:30..at 11:53, I finally got a different page than the 'we haven't started the giveaway yet today'..filled in all my info and it said I would get my free lip balm in a few weeks..not sure if all that time was worth the $5 lip balm though, lol!

Don't hate me but I've actually gotten it twice. I got it on Sunday (well, actually DH got it because it was his turn on the computer so I had him keep refreshing the Burt's tab) and again on Wednesday. Both were just dumb luck that I had the window up and kept refreshing every now and then. I was just happy getting it once (actully I got it twice on Sunday because DH filled out my info, submitted, and then did my mom's info and submitted).

Don't give up hope- you'll get it eventually! Here's some for luck!
