What if my 10 year old wants to order a cheeseburger at Whispering Canyon?
Will they not let her because she is over 9 or is there one on the 'adult' menu??

Not sure what you're asking. Is there a cheeseburger on the menu at all? If it's on the kids' menu, they'll let her order it. They don't care what age you are.

I always wondered that myself. My 10 year old always orders from the kids menu still in restaurants, just because she doesn't eat an adult sized portion. But I read somewhere on the DDP that she has to use the adult menu? Anyone can confirm this?? It would be a serious waste of food, and I"m sure she's not the only 10 (or 11 or 12) year old who doesn't necessarily need to order off of the adult menu...

There is one on the kids menu because she has ordered it before (and asked for the ketchup!).
So if I wanted to order something off the kids menu, they would let me?? :confused3

Reports are that most places at WDW will allow her to order from the children's menu but pay with an adult credit. Not sure about WCC specifically, but have never seen that it's not permitted there.

There is a bacon cheeseburger on the adult menu.

I looked on allears at the dinner menu and didn't see one...but now, I have looked at the lunch menu and there are all sorts of sandwiches.
Thanks for the info!

When we ate there in December, my DD, then 10, wanted to order the kids' cheeseburger. The waitress replied that they would bring her the adult burger (which was NOT on the menu). My DS7 ordered the kids' burger. The adult burger was much bigger and on a fancier bun. She didn't eat it all and would have been fine with the kids', but they said she needed an adult meal since it was an adult credit.

1) In almost every case, a 10+ child can order from the kid's menu.
2) Disney loves to accomodate.
3) Especially if the child is on DDP.
4) They make a killing by selling a kid menu for an adult DDP coupon.
5) And, the guest loses about $17 in dining value!

My 11 year old son was able to order a hamburger at dinner a few months ago. We were on the DDP and they brought him an adult size burger. We actually did this at 3 different restaurants the week we were there; WCC, Sci-Fi Diner and Captain's Grill. And at CRT he wanted to order the chicken strips and again we were told that he could order ANYTHING off the kids menu, but they would bring an adult portion.
