Bunn Coffee Maker problems

I have the same problem occassionally when I use non-Bunn filters. I find them at Wal-Mart in the coffee pot aisle.

Holy cow..... tonight grounds went everywhere!

As far as I can tell, Bunn coffee makers are the worst I've ever had occasion to use. Putting aside that perhaps there is some strangeness, it has got to be something of note that something like what happened tonight could possibly have happened at all, no matter what.

Yeah, my wife tried it herself. The coffee maker is simply too dangerous. It is going back. I am amazed that so many of you have had such a good experience with it. I cannot see how this thing could possibly not cause lots of people lots of damage and actually harm, as well.
