Bumper stickers

Just my college window cling in my back window although my last car had 'Can't sleep, the clowns will eat me'. I loved that sticker but haven't been able to find it again.

I like bumper stickers, but I don't like to stick them on my car. I prefer to put them on magnets and then put the magnets on my car. Speaking of which ... I am planning to get two political bumper stickers, one for each car.

I do this too. You can buy the sticky magnet sheets at craft stores. It's easy to switch out bumper stickers without leaving a mark on your car. You just have to take them off every now and then, or they can bake onto the car in the sun.

I don't put anything vulgar or rude on my car. I do have a "W the coach" magnet(reference to UNC's coach), a "Carolina Girl" one, and small Jesus fish on the back of my car. I had a plain political candidate one on my bumper until November; took it off b/c it was really faded. I will probably replace it with a similar one when things start up again.

I will admit, though, I hate it when I let someone in front of me in traffic and then I see some hateful bumper sticker (or just something contrary to my views), and I'm kicking myself for letting them in.

I live in a state with two rival universities and I know people who won't let you into traffic if you have insignia for the "wrong" school. Another reason to stay unmarked.

We just have the school football logo on my car--my son plays for them. Hubby doesn't have anything on either of his, although I'm sure that will eventually change. He used to have an OSU magnet on the back of his car, but I took it through the car wash and it came off. I didn't realize it until a few days later when he asked me if I remembered to take it off before. So, just a thought to the people who think their ribbons are being stolen. Might just be the car wash.

I love the tip on making your own magnet/bumper sticker. He had stuck a Bristol sticker on my car--before I put the football one on there. Ticked me off. I love music and didn't even have one for one of my fav bands on my car. It came off. I still have his sticker though, maybe I can transfer and he can put it on his car and transfer to the truck in the winter.
